GO DEEPER INTO NATURES ARMS

This post has been a long time coming. I've been meaning to start this over a month ago...now the adventures and exciting things have piled so high i doubt i'll ever catch up or even attempt it so lets start from right now!
I'm currently living in Hawaii going to BYU-H...It's been the dream i always imagined it would be! I've been asked "what's your favorite part so far?" my answer is always the same. EVERYTHING! I love the warm air that just seems to hug my entire body (mainly cuz of the humidity). I love that even when it's raining that is no excuse to not get in the warm ocean and swim, I love having sand all over me at all times no matter how many times I shower -which is seeming to become pointless- I love the geckos that climb my new beach cruiser, the way my hair is always wavy, the sound of drums at the near by Polynesian Culture Center (PCC), my tiny little room that i can barely walk into, my professors and each class is amazing!...basically I love it all, i'm beginning to feel okay about the roaches too.

These girls have made my life sooo much better here! even paradise can get pretty boring if your all alone, so these crazy girls have been my adventure buddies and partners in crime!  (Sarah, Me, Jessie)

The guys in the back were a couple of photo bombers...haha jk they're friends.

Some of my favorite things that i've done since being here in Laie are going on the circle the Island Tour which basically we went to all the hot spots as new students including a place called Pali Look out

Camping on the beach was an amazing experience and was something I've always wanted to do! when we first arrived to our destination there were so many stars in the sky shining so bright i felt like it was like being on the space mountain ride at Disneyland! later after catching crabs, throwing them in the fire, and eating them we tried to spy on our neighbors and ended up scaring some drunk guys pretty bad. Waking up the next morning It felt beyond belief that I could actually be here.

Last but not least, SURFING!!!! today was only my second time trying to surf and i was pretty proud of myself for being able to get up so many times that I lost count. I'm really not trying to brag cuz lets be honest, look at the size of that board!...it's huge which helps a lot! but standing on the board, being pushed by soft, warm waves til I hit shore or just jumped off... I was in a complete euphoric state and i'm officially addicted to that rush! can't wait to get my next fix!
